warehouse supervisor
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- plan and ensure completion of day to day warehousing operations, including ERP transactions and inventory management systems
- regularly deputise for Warehouse Senior in prioritising the teams’ work and ensuring execution to the required standards and timeline
- escalate any Warehouse/Supply Chain related issues with relevant departments
- hold daily Warehouse meetings and provide required data to site Leaders
- manage warehouse KPI’s board
- participate in continuous improvement programs or team projects to enhance our quality, customer service and costs
- manage non-conforming materials including stock disposals
- raise, action and complete QMS activities such as Quality Events, Issues, CC Actions and Documentation updates using a Quality Management System for Warehousing activities
Requirements
- it's a 36.5 hour week covering 8am to 4/4.30pm, Mon-Fri
- experience in a Regulated / GMP / GXP industry or equivalent is a must
- extensive knowledge of supply chain / warehousing functionality
- broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and a general understanding of department fundamentals
- to be suitable for this role, they would prefer a Candidate from a highly regulated industry; Medical, Pharmaceutical, Food manufacturing, MOD, Aerospace, Electronics etc
- experience of ERP systems and computerized Quality management Systems is preferable, although full training will be provided
- experience with handling / shipping of Dangerous Goods and documentation management would also be an advantage, but training can be given
