- I'm looking for a special person to help an elderly lady live with dignity and peace at home
- this could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary
- you will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on making others feel 'normal'
- you will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful and enjoy building friendships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others
- this role will be based on the patient's home in Thorner - and you must be ok with dogs - as there is a very cute one living at this property
- you do not need any experience in Alzheimer's. However, it is essential to have experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people
- the success of this role is dependent on the bond you make with the patient - so as her condition progresses - you'll be a constant in her life

Requirements
- previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
