PET HOUSE VETS is looking for employees for positions:
receptionist
Responsibility
- you will also be required to inform the veterinarian on-call of any emergency cases that arise
- greeting and welcoming patients with sincerity
- answering telephone calls and returning e-mails
- part time can be extended to full time for the right candidate
- scheduling appointment using our designated software
- salary – £12.21 per hour
- informing the veterinarian of any emergencies that require urgent attention
- issuing invoices for treatment and dispensing prescribed medication
Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent
- previous administrative experience, preferably withing healthcare setting
- intermediate computer proficiency
- basic arithmetic skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- excellent organizational, time management and multitasking abilities
- personable, empathetic disposition
- capacity to work well during distressing situations
