Responsibility
- we are looking for a passionate and friendly AAT qualified bookkeeper with at least 2 years practice experience to join our growing and scaling practice to own a portfolio of clients

- client portfolio management: Maintain and build strong relationships with your own client portfolio
- bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero and other relevant software
- VAT returns: Prepare and file VAT Returns for clients
- CIS returns: Prepare and file CIS Returns, ensuring compliance with regulations
- management accounts: Prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients as required
- client communication: Effectively communicate with clients and HMRC, addressing queries and providing necessary support
Requirements
- experience: A minimum of 2 years of previous bookkeeping experience
- accounting and tax knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with CIS and VAT rules and regulations
- qualifications: AAT qualified, but we will also consider applicants part-qualified or qualified by experience
- communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain trustful relationships with clients
- time management: Proficiency in working to deadlines and prioritising tasks
