- identify and research potential new suppliers as well as developing supplier relationships to negotiate the best prices for the company
- ensure the company is aware of market changes, impacts of legislation or regulation
- plan inventory purchasing
- develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and inventory control programs
- co-ordinate a successful sourcing strategy
- facilitate the introduction of key suppliers to company level stakeholders
- research new products and services to meet the company's goals
Requirements
- experience within the manufacturing industry
- experience in contract implementation and management
- experience in Aluminium windows & doors
- experience using Xero
- A working knowledge of finance cost management and risk management
- excellent negotiation skills
- anticipate change and produce solutions
- accuracy and attention to detail
