  • based in Littleborough, PDS are within easy travelling distance of Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Ripponden, Rochdale, Oldham, Shaw, Royton, Middleton, Bury, Manchester
  • the Production/Operations Manager will be responsible for the production processes and people management within the door manufacturing facility, ensuring that consistent levels of efficiency and quality are maintained at all times
  • maintaining manufacturing improvements and housekeeping
  • ensuring health and safety standards are always met, in accordance with statutory regulatory and company requirements

Requirements

  • previous experience working in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques is essential
  • extensive operations management experience, and any relevant professional qualifications
  • effective leadership skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • industry experience a benefit
  • advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask
  • in depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles eg, supply chain, customer service etc
