Responsibility
- delivering high quality tender/proposal responses within agreed deadlines
- developing relationships with clients across the business and carefully managing these relationships
- ensuring all bid documentation is completed accurately and to the highest standard
- taking ownership to ensure bid completion whilst recognising issues that require escalation
- identifying and mitigating against all potential risks in respect of the bid
- driving improvement within the business based on knowledge of client requirements and bid feedback
- managing a bid content and ensuring this is kept up to date
- ensuring all bid activity is recorded within the company system and any other reporting systems
Requirements
- previous experience in a Bid Manager/Writer role is essential
- experience in use of various procurement portals
- english language at high communicative level is a prerequisite for this role
- proficient in the use of various Microsoft packages
- experience in writing bids and bid management
- excellent project management skills and working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- ability to take on the lead on client work with limited supervision
- good understanding of procurement processes, requirements and timescales
