- set up, maintain and optimize best practices, and continuously level up the team and organization
- investigate the tools, processes, and pipelines used by the technical design teams to ensure they meet industry standards and best practices
- propose and drive improvements to the above as needed through a clear roadmap
- lead the evaluation and selection of the appropriate technology platforms, frameworks and deployment architectures for each given problem to solve
Requirements
- at least two AAA titles developed and shipped from start to finish
- typically at least two AAA titles developed and shipped from start to finish
- minimum of 5 years of experience in the video game industry in technical design roles
- at least 2 years of team leading experience
- typically 2 years of team leading experience
- experience on a previous game production as a lead technical designer
- strong, deep experience with Unreal Engine
- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
