develop, maintain, and improve backend services to support our online games across various platforms
own technical design and manage a team of engineers driving the implementation of robust, highly scalable online solutions
investigate the tools, processes, and pipelines used by the technical design teams to ensure they meet industry standards and best practices
set up, maintain and optimize best practices, and continuously level up the team and organization
maintain and develop the workflow together with the Programmers
propose and drive improvements to the above as needed through a clear roadmap
lead the evaluation and selection of the appropriate technology platforms, frameworks and deployment architectures for each given problem to solve

Requirements

typically at least two AAA titles developed and shipped from start to finish
typically 2 years of team leading experience
strong Leadership and mentoring skills
minimum of 5 years of experience in the video game industry in technical design roles
great understanding of creative and game development processes
experience on a previous game production as a lead technical designer
strong, deep experience with Unreal Engine
bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
