Responsibility
- follow Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines
- observing animals to identify signs of injury or illness and reporting concerns to the team leader immediately
- ensure water is clean and always topped up
- paying attention to dogs/cats eating habits, reporting any concerns to the Team Leader
- report any faulty or damaged equipment to the Team Leader
- bed down dogs for the night, ensuring they are comfy with clean and dry blankets
- ensure and maintain that the cleanliness of kennels and cattery is to the highest standard including cleaning and disinfecting animal accommodation, drains, exercise areas, food preparation areas, laundry, and outside areas
- ensure positive welfare for each animal through play, enrichment, exercise, and socialisation. Taking note of toileting habits/ behaviour and reporting back to Team Leader
