Responsibility
- to be responsible for the day to day running of the nursery kitchen which cooks for up to 65 children. Providing breakfast, snack, hot and cold lunch and tea. Preparing tea for up to 16 After School Club children
- providing well-balanced and nutritious meals that are attractive and appropriate for children under 5 years old and also for the children in the afterschool club
- to ensure that all food preparation within the nursery is stored, prepared and served with the guideline set up by the Environmental Health Department and as set out in the Pennies Nurseries health and safety policy
- special diets must always be catered for and care taken to reflect the cultural, religious and medical requirements of the children / staff
