- excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, coupled with a thorough understanding of their mathematical foundations
- experience using Git to collaborate with colleagues on a codebase
- experience using Python for data analysis and statistical modelling, and a familiarity with key open-source libraries like Pandas and NumPy
- proven experience implementing machine learning models in production
- strong grasp of experimental design and analysis
- strong familiarity with tools and techniques used in Natural Language Processing and time-series analysis
- solid grounding in SQL, able to write well-formed queries and transformations
- deep learning model development with either PyTorch or Tensorflow
