Responsibility

  • manufacture of moulding tools, jigs and fixtures
  • maintenance and repair of existing tooling
  • interpreting engineering drawings to program CNC machine tools
  • using CAD and CAM software as part of the manufacturing process
  • manufacturing copper electrodes and operating CNC spark erosion machines
  • liaising with suppliers to order tool steel and cutting tools
  • operate and maintain machinery
  • follow safety protocols when operating machinery

Requirements

  • toolmaking: 5 years
