Responsibility
- carry out COSHH assessments and maintain the chemical information system
- monitor legislative developments and inform management
- monitor chemical dosing and storage systems to ensure they work reliably and effectively
- deliver troubleshooting support to production processes to help ensure process consistency
- responding to customer regulatory compliance questions
- ensure that the Day Lab areas are clean and tidy
- maintaining stocks of lab consumables for the QC and Day Labs
- liaising with suppliers to find new/alternative process chemicals
Education
- science education – Degree/HND
- previous experience in chemical or manufacturing industry is desirable
