credit controller
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- engaging with customers to take credit card payments over the telephone and sending out receipts
- managing customer and account manager queries within the team’s deadlines
- management of AR mailbox
- support projects within credit control
- any ad-hoc duties required by the Credit Control Team Lead
- processing monthly bad debt write off’s, seeking approval from the relevant department heads
- getting in touch with our global customer base by email or phone, following through the entire debt collection process to ensure collections are made in a timely manner and are in line with weekly cash collection targets
- wherever our markets are active – in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong, London and elsewhere – PEI is hard at work examining crucial market forces and shifting investment themes, identifying active investors and their capital allocations, and scanning ahead for regulatory changes, new compliance requirements and other risk factors
Requirements
- essential Experience
- have a proven background in a similar accounts receivable role
- at least 2 years minimum credit control experience
- experience with multi-currency
- having knowledge of accounting systems
- experience dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
- desirable Experience
- experience of working within Media / Publishing environment
