Requirements

  • registered Nurse qualification with a valid and current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration
  • previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a residential care home or healthcare setting
  • sound clinical knowledge and skills, including proficiency in medication administration and clinical procedures
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues
  • empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in providing person-centered care to the elderly
  • ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required
  • excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in elderly care
