  • to reduce environmental waste where possible by e.g. turning off machines when not in use, turning off lights etc
  • follow policies and procedures in conjunction with the food quality management system and retailer-specific technical standards
  • to correct, or report, poor environmental practices or conditions
  • to be responsible for your own safety and do not jeopardise the health and safety of others
  • to make suggestions to improve any aspect of environmental management
  • to follow safe working procedures and safety rules
  • to report instances of energy and other waste and act to correct poor environmental procedures
  • to follow the correct procedure if accidents occur
