business development executive

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • reporting to the Director, this role will be at the heart of sales and customer development
  • the successful candidate will be commercially astute with a background in estimating or project management, preferably in the technical services sector
  • researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better
  • your role will be predominantly client-facing, developing existing client relationships but also creating new opportunities with new customers in a number of markets in the UK
  • negotiating business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings
  • primarily a self-starter and self-managed you will be part of a strong management team that has been very successful over a long number of years and that has an excellent reputation in our customer base and also in the building services sector
  • attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
  • produce written proposals of a high standard that make a compelling case for the prospective client to procure PCS’s solution
