business development executive
Responsibility
- reporting to the Director, this role will be at the heart of sales and customer development
- the successful candidate will be commercially astute with a background in estimating or project management, preferably in the technical services sector
- researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better
Show more +9 - your role will be predominantly client-facing, developing existing client relationships but also creating new opportunities with new customers in a number of markets in the UK
- negotiating business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings
- primarily a self-starter and self-managed you will be part of a strong management team that has been very successful over a long number of years and that has an excellent reputation in our customer base and also in the building services sector
- attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
- produce written proposals of a high standard that make a compelling case for the prospective client to procure PCS’s solution
- integrate personal sales efforts with organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, targeted campaigns, and exhibitions
- work with senior team members to identify and manage risks
- manage & build long-term relationships with an existing customer base, working with these customers to build business cases for solution offerings
- input research data for management to identify new market opportunities
Requirements
- bachelors degree is required
- ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients
- excellent leadership and communication skills
