Responsibility
- warehouse Manager - Sport Nutrition Wholesalers
- lead, train, and manage a team of 15 warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment
- oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to company standards
- implement and maintain effective inventory management systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies
- collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure efficient coordination and smooth operations
- monitor and optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity
- conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies
- develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness
Requirements
- minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field, preferably in the wholesale or distribution industry
- proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving operational excellence
- in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets and meet deadlines
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
