Responsibility
- experience in a skilled trade e.g., Plastering/Bricklaying/Carpentry/Groundwork etc
- willingness to physically clean the site by moving materials and sweeping/hoovering up. Waste is to be separated into appropriate skips
- follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- collect materials from local building supplies when required
- to report unsafe practice on site to the Site Manager
- follow instructions and also use your initiative to keep the building and site clean as work progresses, working as part of a team to achieve this. The site must be organised to run smoothly
- safely drive the site telehandler for the moving of materials. Unloading of deliveries and cleaning site. Full training will be provided
- communicate effectively with sub-contractors regarding loading materials out and unloading deliveries – forming a good working relationship with the sub-contractors on site
Requirements
- experience in a skilled trade
- organised and able to prioritise work
- ability to sweep, hoover and move materials
- be able to drive the site Telehandler safely and effectively or be willing to train towards this
- good communicative skills, you will work with various people across all sites
- capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers
- ability to adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- attentive to details and always alert to ensure safety
