Responsibility

  • assist with various construction activities on site, including demolition, excavation, and the installation of structures and fixtures
  • carry out tasks as directed by the site supervisor or foreman
  • use hand and power tools to complete tasks as required
  • keep the work area clean and safe at all times
  • adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field. Ability to work on a variety of projects
  • strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
  • ability to take direction and follow instructions well
  • proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • physical ability to perform manual labour, lift heavy objects, and climb scaffolding as required
  • willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • must be reliable, polite and trustworthy
  • own transport preferable
