- to proactively identify and carry out process improvements in the production plants at all sites
- to have day-to-day responsibility for control, electrical and electronic systems and the part that those systems have in meeting the production schedules at all sites
- to undertake regular maintenance of plant to ensure it operates safely and effectively, identifying where specialist outside work may be required and to be responsible for managing specialist contractors
- where necessary to engage external contractors to assist with electrical systems maintenance and oversee the work ensuring it is in specification and to agreed budget
