Responsibility
- extract sales and cost data from various systems and post into the accounting system
- perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- perform weekly supplier account reconciliation, to manage the accounts payable process, including reviewing and processing invoices, and resolving any discrepancies
- prepare balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial statements
- preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal and external purposes
- complete and submit quarterly VAT return to HMRC
- support the Operations Director and Payroll Manager with monthly tasks
- utilise Sage Accounts & Sage Payroll accounting software to maintain financial data accurately
Requirements
- proven experience in management accounting or related roles
- strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
