- general housekeeping activities as required
- maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment
- conducting dust and sand testing to relevant standards
- performing IP testing for dust and water ingress protection
- operating and maintaining test equipment such as dust chambers and water spray equipment
- preparing test samples and documenting results accurately
- assisting in the development and validation of new test methods
Requirements
- previous laboratory experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
- A Level qualifications in Science or Maths are preferred
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills, both written and verbal
- willingness to learn and adapt to new testing methods and equipment
- own transport preferred due to the location of the facility
- derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
