Responsibility
- if so, come and join our team as our Health & Safety Advisor at Parry & Evans, Deeside & Welshpool, Powys
- regularly review, conduct and update internal audits and produce synopsis for the integrated management system
- ● Monitor Waste stream service providers, ensuring records are up to date for Waste Carriers Licences, Exemption and Permit information in Deeside Depot Waste folder
- ● Review and update the organisations policies in line with the legislation and changes
- ● Outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards
- ● Produce COSHH assessments in accordance with material safety datasheets, including contractual works, method statements and evaluation of sub-contractors
- ● Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
- you will also ensure the organisation and workers comply with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to
Requirements
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualified
- have previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
- have previous experience in an industrial based setting
- ideally have knowledge of working within the waste and recycling industry or a manufacturing sector
- hold a NEBOSH / IOSH qualification
- be able to travel to both our Deeside and Welshpool depots
