deputy care home manager
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to administer medication for residents in accordance with your training
- to complete and update electronic care plans, ensuring care plans are comprehensive and person centred
- this is a full-time and permanent position
- to support the registered manager in all aspects of running the home and achieving positive outcomes for our residents
- to assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards
- you will lead by example setting high standards in your care of residents and promoting a person-centred approach
- to help train junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the home
- you will provide support and guidance to the care assistants in performing their duties
Requirements
- hold the relevant Vocational Qualification needed for the position
- diploma Level 3 in Health and social care or above
- genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- ability to communicate effectively with clients and work colleagues
- strong team leadership and negotiation skills
- knowledge of care planning and person-centred care
- team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- experience of supporting & leading other staff to deliver excellent care
