Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- preparing bills of quantities
- issuing of sub-contractor tender enquiries
- evaluation of sub-contractor quotations
- on-site surveys and meeting with clients and subcontractors
- managing and recording of variations and additional works
- measuring and assessing the work undertaken and then submit detailed, accurate and timely applications
- identifying opportunities to maximise cost/value management
- reviewing, analysing, and advising on tenders
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience in estimating / quantity surveying - further training opportunities can be provided
- parias Construction and Interiors Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial department
- to be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team
- capable to work to strict targets and timescales
- A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
- car and full driving licence
- after a sustained period of growth, working in education, healthcare, and commercial environments we are now looking for an additional team member to help take on our increased workload
- the ideal candidate will have experience in working on various refurbishment projects, with a willingness to expand on their knowledge and skills with mentorship and guidance from our close-knit team
