Responsibility
execute operational, HR, and financial policies and procedures with support from the CEO
prepare reports on operational, HR, and financial performance for the executive team
manage grants and services contract intake and reporting
manage the budgeting and contracting process with internal staff, consultants, service providers, and other partners
identify and propose opportunities to improve the operational, HR, and financial performance of the charitable social enterprise
Requirements
experience working with international partners such as the UN on grants and institutional contracts management
minimum 5 years previous work experience in operational, HR, and/or financial management
experience supporting multi-partner and complex projects in the Global South, preferably in the field of parenting, child development, or violence prevention
minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in non-profit management, finance, or a related field
personal initiative and success working with early-stage organisations
experience working in a charity in the United Kingdom
experience and knowledge about working with social enterprises
experience in financial management including managing financial plans, business models, and costing

communicator – Partner with the wider PLH team to ensure understanding of and commitment to our policies and procedures
thinker – Work closely with the CEO and senior management to build our operations, HR, and finance systems, with attention to detail and a keen eye for both risks and opportunities
collaborator – Collaborate with our accountants, lawyers, and other professional services partners to carry out core operational functions for the charitable social enterprise
