- experienced in surface grinding, manual milling and manual turning

- abrasive wheels certificate - preferred but no essential
- safe use of power press certificate - preferred but no essential
Responsibility
- the Toolmaker will need be competent in the use of tool room machinery, press try-out and be familiar with toolroom processes
- building new tools
- strip and rebuild existing tooling to carry out repairs and maintenance
- reporting directly to the Production Manager the Toolmaker will be responsible for and building, repair and maintaining a wide variety of press tools and other tooling
- analyse and assist in the proving of new tools during tool try-out
