PARADISE WILDLIFE PARK is looking for employees for positions:
- minimum 2 years of electrical, plumbing, carpentry or multi-trade experience
- minimum 2 years electrical, plumbing, carpentry or multi-trade experience
- self-motivated and able to manage own time
- excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- reliable and hardworking
- awareness of Health & Safety practices
- full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- building and/or Maintenance: 2 years
- develop & promote a positive Health and Safety culture amongst employees and contractors across both sites
- develop SWP and SOP and ensure employee understanding; deliver Toolbox talks on H&S
- produce risk assessments for any activities on site and consider how risk could be reduced or removed
- issue and log PPE, workwear and work accessories; enforce uniform and PPE policies
- review and action hazard, near miss and incident reports
- investigating and recording workplace accidents and work-related illnesses, writing up reports where required
- maintain COSHH assessments and action as necessary
- carry out regular site audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
- 2 years full-time H&S Coordination/Management experience
- A valid NEBOSH General H&S Certificate, H&S NVQ and/or ISOH qualification
- excellent communication skills
- competent using MS Office Applications
- health & Safety: 2 years
- existing Right to Work in the UK
- full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
