maintenance electrician
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- carrying out planned and preventative maintenance using Electrical, Control System and Automation skill set
- diagnosing faults and to test, repair and maintain electrical equipment
- perform testing, inspections and certifications for applicable equipment to appropriate and corresponding standards
- provide support to and involvement in site project and change initiatives as appropriate
- writing electrical maintenance reports and recommendations based on the findings from the planned and preventative maintenance
- installation and commissioning of new electrical systems
- adhering to safety and performance standards
- fault finding breakdowns, reacting to machine or equipment failure, working effectively to focus on first time fix on customers sites and our own facilities
Requirements
- must have gained full electrical apprenticeship at a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- must have a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience of working in a maintenance/fault finding role
- must be able to obtain P4 pass and SC Clearance for working on nuclear facilities
- able to work with minimum supervision and manage own time effectively
