Responsibility
- purchasing supplies, examining supplies to ensure quality and making sure that the supplies are properly used to prevent wastage
- liaising with kitchen staff to ensure that the quality of food is maintained to highest standard
- responsible to determine staff requirements within kitchen, waiting area and counters
- responsible for the management of office, staff, supplies and preparing accounts while controlling costs
- ensuring that the relevant hygiene, health and safety standards within the kitchen and entire restaurant are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements
- you will also need to keep on top of the day-to-day, too. And you will make sure your team has everything it needs to grow, develop, and stand up to any challenge that comes their way
- to be able to plan and delegate job tasks to the junior staff
Requirements
- professional qualification or proven prior experience of the industry is mandatory
