Responsibility
- build, lead and develop a team of 6 accounting professionals
- provide a high level of customer service to business partners and internal customers
- support the introduction of finance and accounting enabling technologies and process improvements
- contribute to the development of the shared service concept throughout the group
- delivery of general accounting tasks to group operating companies such as period end close, reconciliations, analysis, answering audit queries and KPI reporting
Requirements
- qualified accountant
- team management experience ideally within a shared service centre environment
- experience of designing, implementing and operating robust financial controls
- strong knowledge of ERP systems
- financial leadership experience with a track record of shaping and implementing end to end process improvements and a culture of continuous improvement
