Responsibility

  • PCA is a national charity, dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis and this post has a pivotal role to play in developing and implementing marketing and campaign strategies that raise awareness and support the generation of income across Scotland
  • you will provide marketing and communications expertise to the PCA Team, be able to generate emotive and persuasive copy, be able to engage journalists and produce a variety of content for both print and digital communications channels
  • support the development of PCA marketing and communications strategies across all activities including media and public relations, brand marketing, advertising, marketing, digital and social media and production of materials for PCA’s Scottish activity
  • are you an experienced and creative marketer or communications officer? Are you looking for a new challenge and want to make a difference? If so, this exciting new role in our Marketing and Communications Team at Pancreatic Cancer Action could be just for you
  • any other duty that the Head of Marketing and Communication considers appropriate
  • if you have significant knowledge and understanding of marketing, communications, and PR, with a proven track record in planning, managing and delivering multi-channel campaigns – we can’t wait to hear from you
  • please note: This job is home-based anywhere in Scotland with the option to work from our Glasgow Office. The initial contract term is 12 months
  • be a brand ambassador, providing advice on the consistent use of the charity’s brand and supporting the development of the brand guidelines
