  • to actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care
  • assessing the needs of the children followed by coordinating plans to ensure all needs are met
  • to build positive, professional relationships with the children and young people in our care
  • the ability to keep records in line with both statutory and company requirements
  • provide both practical and emotional support in a child centred environment
  • promote structure, boundaries and routines within a safe and nurturing environment
  • undertaking a range of domestic duties
  • to assess, implement, review and evaluate the care plans of young people
