Responsibility
day to day management and administration of the business in accordance with statutory regulations and company policies
accountable for quality & compliance ensuring CQC regulations and company policies are maintained
the recruitment, training and development of the staff
monitoring standards of care delivered by all care staff by observation and direct involvement
managing staff performance, including staff appraisals, supervisions, spot checks and staff meeting
maintaining accurate records and files of care workers and Clients
providing reports on the business as required
the well-being and safety of each client, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and care records are amended to reflect any variation
Requirements
an excellent knowledge of the Care Standards, KLOEs and CQC regulations
excellent communication and people management skills
experience in HR and recruitment
ability to manage conflict
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
proven experience in developing and growing a domiciliary care business
experience with CQC notifications and safeguarding
experience of coordinating a home care service & producing care plans
