Requirements
- relevant engineering degree/HND
- design of waste handling equipment and steel fabrications using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- experience working within a heavy manufacturing industry
- reviewing and responding to production queries
- full Product training will be given at our Factory in Preston
- supporting the sales team by producing sales proposal drawings and build cost estimates for bespoke equipment
- ensuring compliance with technical specifications
- conducting site surveys
Responsibility
- pakawaste Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Engineer/Draughtsman to join our growing team. This position will report to our Project Engineering Manager
- hours of work: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 / Friday 08:00 – 14:30
- our Waste Products range from balers, both vertical and horizontal balers, static to portable compactors, food waste disposal units, waste transfer stations, material recycling facilities , bins and bin equipment and a variety of specialist bespoke waste handling systems supplied from its purpose-built factory in Preston
