Responsibility
- prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- mix paints and stains to achieve desired colours and finishes
- apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
- conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the quality of finished work
Requirements
- proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred
- strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- familiarity with various painting techniques and materials
- good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when required
- knowledge of safety protocols related to painting tasks is advantageous
