- conduct thorough material take-offs from architectural and engineering plans for roofing projects
- you will play a crucial role in helping our senior team deliver efficient roofing solutions to our clients
- collaborate with senior managers and estimators to create accurate and competitive material cost estimates
- this position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to our success and grow within our organization
- analyze project specifications and requirements to determine material quantities, specifications, and costs through specialist software
- full training will be provided
- maintain detailed and organized records of material quantities and customer requests
Requirements
- strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings
- knowledge of roofing materials, specifications, and suppliers
- excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- proficiency in estimating software and tools
- detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- proven experience as an Estiamtor , training Quantity Surveyor or a similar role , ideally within the roofing or construction industry. Full training will be given for the right person
- strong organizational and time management skills
