Responsibility
- we are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and creative individual to join our growing team
- the Packhorse is a high profile, busy rural destination pub on the outskirts of Bath. It was purchased by hundreds of shareholders from the local area who have invested over £1m to restore and reopen this beautiful country inn
- you will assist the Head Chef with menu creation, be responsible for ordering, stock control and hygiene, assist in training junior chefs and general kitchen management
- suitable candidates should have proven experience in a similar role for at least 1 year in commercial kitchens and in a fresh food environment
- we are looking for a chef who loves food, loves creating new dishes and has a demonstrable aptitude for managing a team and/or training others
