Responsibility
- they should also have a good knowledge of timber grades and countertop materials
- this position requires a person who is physically fit, capable of lifting heavy materials and ready to stand for extended periods
- rate per hour: Negotiable according to experience
- taking measurements and preparing the site for woodwork
- designing and installing fitted wooden shelves, cabinets and drywall
- must be competent and confident to work with power tools and bladed objects such as bow saws, hammer and chisel, nail guns and drills
- installing fixtures and fittings such as handles, locks and hinges
- select and also evaluate materials for potential defects
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry
- at least 1 years on site experience
- CSCS card
- must be able to work to specifications and guidelines and stick to deadlines
- to be Self-Motivated and can work well as part of a team or on your own
- your own tools
- full driving license
- carpentry: 1 year
