Responsibility

  • the job involves working as part of a small team manufacturing bespoke items such as gates, railings, balconys, security grilles, staircases and structural steel work
  • candidates main duties will include the fabrication of customer orders to a good standard, all within a time frame to meet customer requirements
  • the candidate must be able to MIG weld to a good standard
  • the candidate must be competent with a range of workshop equipment and understand how to safely use machinery such as bandsaws and pillar drills
  • good communication skills are necessary as there will be some customer service responsibilities. Candidates must be reliable with good timekeeping. Candidates will be expected to read basic technical drawings and have a good eye for detail
