Responsibility

  • we are looking for someone who has keen attention to detail and is driven to pursue continuous improvements to our processes

  • provide rapid response to issues as they occur on our R&D production line – both hardware and process related
  • assist in the development and refinement of our active layers, in collaboration with the rest of the R&D team
  • take ownership of our deposition toolsets and proactively ensure they are safe and appropriately maintained
  • use SPC methods and feedback from tool operators to keep the line running to specification

  • oxford PV is looking for a talented and motivated Process Development and Support Engineer to work in our R&D production facility, pushing forward our development of new materials, and ensuring our process toolsets are correctly maintained and supported

Requirements

  • engineering experience supporting complex toolsets ideally in a volume production environment. Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience is desirable
  • degree level or higher, in an engineering or science-based subject is preferable
  • high vacuum deposition experience, PVD / CVD
  • knowledge of opto-electronic thin film materials or previous PV development experience
  • some lab-to-fab/product development/NPI experience would be advantageous
  • good working knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
