- the main focus for this role is to work on the development of our platform
- the individual would also work with our team to help analyse this data
- the role over the 12 months would also involve the designing and testing of experiments to pressure test the models generated
- collate and present research findings at both internal and external meetings
- would also help to guide and oversee other members of the team
- as part of our team of scientists, the individual will work with a wide variety of viruses to generate a comprehensive portfolio of viral stocks that will be used to generate next generation sequencing data
- the results generated would help inform OVO on how complex DIP populations impact viral yield, which would be used to create the specific models underpinning our software
Requirements
- A PhD degree in a relevant discipline
- experience in cell and viral culture
- use of standard molecular techniques
- strong IT skills
- experience in producing and analysing next generation sequencing data
- coding experience
