Responsibility

  • to chair meetings as appropriate
  • to liaise with key people in the young adults' lives regarding young adults’ progress and any issues
  • to assist the assessment process for new young adults
  • liaise with young adults, their parents/carers of prospective young adults introducing them to the facilities and being available for advice
  • to deal with safeguarding issues in accordance with safeguarding policies. Liaise with the Safeguarding lead when necessary
  • outPost19 works with young adults with learning difficulties, learning disabilities and autism in a supported living environment
  • to be familiar with the assessed needs of each young adult
  • to ensure that staff behave in a professional manner toward young adults/ stakeholders
