Responsibility

  • we are looking for a highly motivated individual who can lead the marketing of our portfolio of world-class events
  • briefing and management of all media personnel at each event such as freelance journalists, photographers, filmmakers and third-party media organizations
  • this role is based in our Kendal office with ad hoc working from home possible
  • editorial responsibility and coordination of all the event communications including blogs, social media updates, press releases and films
  • additional and adjusted responsibilities to those listed should be expected in keeping with an ever-evolving small business
  • ensuring that event and sponsor branding is displayed correctly
  • supporting the social media content creation, journalistic reportage and communications at each event, including writing and publishing content
  • the successful candidate will already be a marketing professional and is likely to have an intuitive understanding of our events because they are either a runner themselves, and/or have a background in event marketing
