- be the first point of contact for the camp staff/managers in your area during camps
- staff calling in sick
- questions from staff
- manage required cover within your area
- ourCamps is a holiday club company that specialises in providing holiday camps for children from disadvantaged backgrounds across London and the south of England
- cover at a camp if needed
- we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work as Area Cover Leaders in specific areas, who can travel between different camps within a reasonable distance
- be a floater for the different camps in your area, flexible and enthusiastic for children and staff
Requirements
- experience working with children, preferably in a camp or similar environment
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
- ability to lead a camp day and run activities if needed
- ability to manage camp staff during a camp day if needed
- willingness to travel to different camps within a reasonable distance
- flexibility to cover sickness at short notice
- A valid driving licence and access to a car
