  • set and operate grinding machines
  • read engineering drawings
  • work to fine tolerances
  • read a micrometre
  • you will work as part of the General Grinding team to deliver customer products in a timely fashion as per customer expectations
  • general housekeeping & maintaining of machines to the standard required
  • follow standard operating procedures ’s

Responsibility

  • the machines have bespoke work holding units and machine a large variety of machine hole cutting tools
  • full training will be provided to the right candidate
  • you will be responsible for production levels
  • you will set machines to engineering drawing specifications
  • you will complete quality checks of parts produced
  • we are looking for individuals with milling machining experience and a desire to learn new skills/operations to set up and run our manual milling machines
  • you will record and report any issues to senior managers
