Responsibility

  • our plant OSI Food Solutions UK Ltd in Scunthorpe is looking for a Logistics Manager
  • control, measure and improve KPI related directly to the intake/despatch process
  • liaise with contracted hauliers and cold storage, maintaining stock volumes, rotation and delivery at all times
  • as an international company in the food sector, we belong to the global, privately owned OSI group. We are leaders in the development and manufacture of high-quality products for system catering and food retailing
  • management of personnel ensuring availability to intake, production and despatch. Provide seven-day cover whilst ensuring cost effective use of labour
  • management of the supply chain ensuring timely delivery, dispatch and quality of all goods so as not to compromise production or customer
  • ensure all department personnel are trained to the required level of competency to carry out their duties safely and efficiently
  • to maintain and develop the standards of health and safety, environment and welfare of all personnel within the team including visitors, contractors & customers

Education

  • qualified by experience in Logistics, Warehousing, FMCG
  • supply Chain and Stock Management
  • CIPS would be an advantage but not essential
