Responsibility
- cost - Reduce down time and unnecessary costs associated with manufacturing processes. Compile Return on Investment potentials for cost effective solutions
- safety - Support achievement of working practices and processes to comply with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements of the business and HSE standards. Safe working environments promote efficient and productive gains
- quality - Ensure Manufacturing and Repair processes and operatives achieve “right first time” and conforms to the standards of Osborne Engineering, customers’ requirements, supporting the Quality department where necessary
- delivery - Reduction in lead times where possible through planning, reducing wastes through lean and pushing productivity efficiencies. Ensuring production output is to budget and “on-time” delivery KPI is achieved
- people - Ensuring a full, efficient production plan. Identifying gaps in manpower or skills whilst ensuring there is a positive and supportive environment within production
- maintenance – Reduce down time of machines ensuring an effective maintenance program for all equipment associated within the shopfloor. Identifying gaps creating effective plans to ensure continuous improvement
